Well, this bride was just the sweetest lady I have ever met – a total dream to work with, she made my job a breeze!
Lauren married Sam on Easter Saturday in Watson’s Bay. Her bouquet was made of cream and coffee coloured roses, beautifully perfumed tuberose and magnolia foliage.
The table arrangements were actually inspired by Alison and Nik’s flowers – Lauren had seen them online and wanted to use the same colours. Being an autumn wedding rather than a spring one, we had to mix up the flower choice a little – we used David Austins (goes without saying), dahlias, lisianthis, hydrangea, senecio, traditional roses and burgundy carnations.*
It looked like such a fun, love-filled day, with a touch of silliness (the masks!) and was captured beautifully by Sarah Braden Photography. Sarah is one talented chickadee – she shoots everything from weddings to food to properties. Check out her website and see for yourself.
*I am loving carnations at the moment, especially the burgundy ones and the nudey coloured ones. They’re making a comeback. For serious. Embrace it.
