These two got married on a sparkly day back in February. It has taken me ages to get this post up – this year is flying!

I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Elliot, but Sarah was just the sweetest lady. I have said it once and I’ll say it again – I have the best brides!

I made bouquets for Sarah and her bridesmaids, and some simple cake and hair flowers.

Sarah wanted to keep it simple with green and white and lots of texture, so we used dahlias, David Austins, bourvarida, tuberose, eucalyptus foliage and some other bits and pieces.

These photos were captured by the insanely talented Tim Coulson, without a doubt one of the best photographers in the biz. I feel so lucky to have photos of my work by this guy.

This beautiful wedding was also featured on Nouba a while back – you can see the full post and more pics here. It’s worth it just to see more of Tim’s images.

Thanks so much to Sarah and Elliot for including me in your day xxx

HAPPY NEW YEAR! How did you celebrate? I watched a movie at home and was in bed by 10.30, pretty much my perfect evening. That’s right, I live life on the edge.

Anyhoo, I have some catching up to do here on the blog. Here are a couple of snaps of a little Christmas order I did back in December. Dahlias, Christmas bush and mini nectarines on the branch. It was cute. It was fun.

Come back soon. I’ll be updating this space over the next couple of weeks with some wedding work from the end of last year, including an exciting shoot I worked on to launch a brand new couture bridal gown label. Stay tuned. Srsly.

I’m just going to put it out there… Hannah and Sam are one of the best looking couples I’ve ever encountered.

And as the olde saying goes, “a hot couple requires hot flowers”*, so when Hannah entrusted me with the florally stuff for their wedding in March, the pressure was on.

And strike-me-down-with-a-feather, I think I did it. I think the dahlia, David Austin, coral rose, pittosporum berry, passionvine, sexy-nudie-kinda-coloured carnation and nerine bouquets suited Hannah and her gorge maid Tessa to a tee. And the big, wild urn arrangements just had party-fun-times written all over them.

The moments you see here were captured by Gui Jorge – you can see more of his work here. His photos are seriously amazeballs. You really should have a look.

My talented little monkey of a sister was also there to take photos on the day. We’ll have a Hannah & Sam gallery up tonight, so check back later if you want to have a perv at more of this gorgeous, rainy, love-filled day.

* Ok I just made that up.
